This informal poll is prompted by an insanely inane thread on a message board I frequent:
Question for the straight men in the crowd: Would you buy tampons/feminine pads for your girlfriend/wife? Why or why not?
*The title is a joke. You'll only get it if you read Judy Blume. Granted, it's not a very good joke.

Ah, one of my favorite Judy Blume books for adolescent years. Yeah I'd buy it for her. I did it about two months ago when I happen to be at Target "at the right time." I used to work in a pharmacy so I'm used to stocking them on shelves, playing football with them down the aisle, all kinds of things. The same thing applies with condoms... well except playing football with them.

i read the book in ninth grade, but i can't recall anything more than that i think i liked it. that and the cool title.
i'd have no problems to buying it. in this hypothetical situation, i know i'd been There already. the tampons and i would have that in common.
that and a common bond of feeling abused during the clockwork-like periods of moodiness.
