This is a photo I took at the BART stop in the San Francisco International Airport when I got home from Las Vegas. The perspective intrigued me, and I loved the orange cones. But I was so focused in the middle tunnel that I missed a lot of the details in the background. My friend, Ted Rheingold, took it upon himself to crop up the photo in multiple ways, revealing how complex this photo really is. It’s amazing. Check them out!

I just got back from a “going away” party. My good friends Courtney and Robert are moving to Oakland from San Francisco. Here’s to their new life in the East Bay.

Of course we’ll still see each other, and Oakland isn’t that far away, but it still feels like an end of an era. Weird.
