Melodrama & Discovery
Y’know, maybe I should rest for a couple hours before I blog something, so that I don’t end up posting entries that now seem way too dramatic and out of proportion.
Then again, it does show that I’m all about transparency. And you know how important transparency is, right? No false fronts, no lies, no fake advertisements. Transparency is the only way to blog.
It doesn’t stop the feeling of embarassment though. Mere moments after posting my emotional rants, I received an email from a previous employer who happened to stumble upon my site. He had some nice words to say (not about the blog in general, but about me, which I think is very nice and diplomatic of him). But I still felt like.. “oh man, he must’ve read my insane ramblings. how humiliating!” Ah well, it’s not like this blog isn’t in public view. I should’ve known Someone Important would’ve stumbled upon it some time.
So, Important People, family, friends, those who have stumbled upon my site and now know the inner workings of my brain — welcome. I know I may seem quiet and distant on the outside (this is especially true if you’ve only met me a few times and hardly talk to me), but on the inside, I am awash with insights, thoughts, and emotions. Like, you know, a normal human being. Amazing, isn’t it?
