The weirdness of large monitors
Okay, not all that weird, really. I just bought a 19″ Dell LCD monitor, and I don’t think I was prepared for how… big it was going to be. I mean, I’ve seen 19″ monitors before — at work, at friend’s houses, etc. And of course I’ve seen even larger ones at stores and such. But all the monitors I’ve ever had have been like, 15″. So to move up to this is.. a little weird on the eyes. Everything is just. so. much. bigger. Surfing Flickr is a new experience — I’m not kidding. Pictures simply jump to life. And don’t get me started on DVD movies. It’s a little scary.
And now, to break in a new video game. Mmmm.

I don’t suppose this is the 1905FP …I got one recently at work. Love it.
Yes, I’ve been sucked into World of Warcraft. Oh woe is my free time.
And yeah, it’s the 1905FP. I’m loving it so far.
Now try dual 19-in monitors. I made the switch a year ago, and can’t imagine doing it with just one monitor anymore…
